A little over a year ago, I discovered Sam Hurd's work. His incredible images fascinated me with depth, color, emotion, geometry, and in-camera "special-effects" that no other photographers were doing at the time. What was even more awesome was his eagerness to teach his techniques and thought-process. As soon as I saw that he was offering an Epic Workshop in L.A., I bought tickets immediately.
