Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of photographing the launch of Lavish Travel, a San Diego luxury travel planning company, on top of Westin San Diego’s helicopter landing pad. Lavish Travel is a new travel agency branch of Lavish Wed, one of my favorite San Diego Coordinating companies (check out one of my recent San Diego weddings with them here). A bit more about Lavish Travel from Christine Ong, one of its founders:

“Lavish Travels is a boutique travel agency specializing in luxury honeymoons tailored to each couples desire and wishes. Here at Lavish Travels, we'll create a custom, exciting, and romantic honeymoon for your first trip as a married couple. It's our job to make sure that you will embark on a once in a lifetime trip! What better way to start your married life together than to jet off to an incredibly romantic location with the love of your life?”

Around 20 coordinators between San Diego and Los Angeles were invited to attend this intimate launch party - but PLOT TWIST: everyone thought it was going to be inside the hotel, not on top of the helicopter pad. After everyone enjoyed a drink and some appetizers in the presidential suite, they were escorted upstairs to the rooftop where a live band was playing (shout out to Muzzii Events for killing it!) and a lavish (pun intended) dinner table was setup as the sun set between the buildings in the background.
